Skyscanner travel trolley virgin update

We originally had flights for the 17th september LGW to MCO with virgin on a 747.
Return flights MCO to DTW, DTW to LHR.

Our connecting flight was cancelled so we contacted travel trolley in April, they advised to wait till the end of May for more clarity.

Today they have confirmed that the outbound flight will still go ahead from LGW as planned.

The inbound has been changed to MCO to ATL, ATl to LHR.

Outbound is still showing as 747
Inbound is showing as Airbus A330.

I was expecting them to have changed the outbound flight, but maybe virgin are continuing to fly out of Gatwick, at least up until lthe 17th of Sept anyway? As for the 747 part, I'm wondering if they are just waiting to change this over to the Airbus.

I thought they had moved all the 747 to MCR readying to send them to wherever they get processed next in the decomission
