There are now 6 adults whereas before they were only just in their teens, so I am wondering how much money is needed for 18 nights
We are staying in a villa most of it.
6 adults in a villa for 18 nights is going to be costly! But fun too

About $4k for expenses should do it ( meals out, car parking etc)

Do you find uber cheaper than mears for the airport transfers? Never tried mears. I think last time we paid around $60 in uber.

I'm also returning after 3 years of not being able to go due to university commitments!
Looking forward to the new rides at universal/IOA (fast & furious, jimmy fallon, harry potter) and the new toy story land and star wars at HS.
I know disney springs has a few new restaurants/food places too which I'm looking forward to trying.
Can't wait now ahh.

We usually get an xl uber from i drive and its between $30 - 40 between 3 of us with plenty of room for our luggage and 3 adults - we have never had an issue with getting an uber (used them last 4 times)

If we are staying on site then we obv use the magical express but if we are staying off site on i drive then we get the lynx from airport to i drive - its 1 bus takes about 45-50 mins depending where on i drive you are staying and costs like $2 per person

Is it easy to get the Lynx bus from the airport? Was also thinking about getting an Uber but for £2pp I might rethink 🤔🤔 we staying at Pointe.

I would say the exchange rate is what you'll notice the most. Your sterling don't get you much in way of dollar's at present time. ☹

Prices have definitely gone up as others have said, made worse by the poor exchange rate. Disney springs has changed a lot over the past few years if you go there. Seaworld is quieter these days id say. They’ve also opened Sesame Street over there now. I drive remains very similar in my opinion.
