Mobile External disc drive for ipad

Does anyone know if I can get an external disc drive for an iPad. I've got loads of photos I want to put on my iPad but they are all on disc! Any ideas.
iPad is an old one and really can't afford a new one or new laptop.

Your not going to have space on an iPad for loads of photos anyway, unless you've bought lots of iCloud storage space.

My iPad is a 64gb and holds 7000 + photos but if you have them on cd already I would suggest just loading them on to a laptop/computer and emailing them that way. That's if you have a laptop etc. I've just bought a flash drive to extract photos from my iphone as it's always full and I pay for 200gb cloud storage a month.

A laptop is probably cheaper than an iPad device. I bought a laptop in Target just for this reason it was $199 and had a half terabyte drive.

I'm sorry to say that I dont think a CD to iPad drive exists.
You can buy memory card readers, and at last flash drive type things to save pictures to. Your probably going to need to find someone with a pc to read the disc and email you the pictures you want (or transfer them to an SD card)
in fact if you bought an SD card and either the camera connecting kit or the SD card adapter (depending how old your iPad is) all you would need to do is find someone with a laptop to transfer your photos from the CD to said SD card, then you'd have access to those photos whenever you needed on your iPad
