I think for a short cruise I would have no worries at all about being in a cat.11 as you will only be in there at night, and to change your clothes.
I think if you're sailing during the winter months too; say between October through to March, since it goes dark fairly early, you would certainly only get minimal benefit from an outside cabin.

I'm booking a cat6 with a verandah only because we are doing a 7 night cruise, and because we have something special to celebrate on this trip (see signature below).

we had a cat 11 on our first cruise and found it really good However,having now stayed in a Cat 6 I'm not sure I would choose a cat 11 necessarily... that's just me tho...I really love sititng out on my balcony first thing and later in the afternoon

To be honest they're all great though!
