we did one a couple of years ago (have also done a couple of 7 day ones) and loved it! You'll really get a taste for cruising though, I warn you! A lovely way to spend your 40th... have a great birthday!

Castaway Cay is a perfect island, and soooooo relaxing... enjoy!

Yes, we did one in September last year, 3 day Disney Wonder. It was fantastic.

Highlights were:
Meal at Palo (fine food and really excellent)
Childrens Club for Luke (he never came out of it apart from bed time and Castaway Cay!)
Castaway Cay (Luke and DH went on Stingray Encounter) the BBQ was the best we ever tasted especially the Mahi Mahi Sandwich.
And as for the ship it is beautiful.
and finally my DH packing his clothes in the suitcase and having to leave the ship in his shorty PJ's!

No Lowlights, apart from having to get up at 6.00 am on the last day for immigration but that is a small downside compared with the rest of the trip.

We have booked for October 2007 so thats how good it is.

Have a great time. You should be able to update your booking online so make sure you book for the Childrens Club if needed, you just need to pick up your pager and set a password at the Terminal and book for Palo, the tables go quickly.

Been looking at cruise web site & it looks very booked up...so glad I did ours early, was thinking of leaving booking till last minute!
Anyone who's been, do we really need to book 'Excursions' for Nassau & disney island or can we just decide what to do when we get there?
Thanks
