customizing Magic bands

How do I go about customizing magic bands, only option I’m getting is having them shipped if I live in the US, or pick up when checking in.

Yes, those are the only options. The only customisation you can do is through My Disney Experience, where you can choose your band colour and the name you want on the inside of the band.

That is all that I want do, where about is it on mde, think I’m going mad as can’t see where.

Hang on, had to sign into my account to find out. I signed in, it said "Welcome, Carolyn!", and then a couple of lines under that there is a pale blue line that says, "Personalize your Magic Band" - click on that, it should take you straight there.

Add a Shipping Address to Your Order
In order to begin customizing your MagicBands, you must first provide your shipping address. If your shipping address is not located in the United States, you can pick up your customized MagicBands at your Disney Resort hotel Front Desk.

Yeah, just put your address in the UK in. It needs an address before it will proceed, but if the address is outside the US they'll just have them waiting for you at check-in.
