Dragon Challenge

Dragon Challenge is located inside 'The Wizarding World of Harry Potter' at the Islands of Adventure. The ride was previously known as Duelling Dragons (Fire and Ice).

Marvel at the blazing Goblet of Fire and the shining Triwizard Cup as you take on the Dragon Challenge.

Dragon Challenge is actually two high-speed roller coasters – each "dragon" has a completely different ride.

At the front of the queue you get to choose your dragon: an aggressive Chinese Fireball (red) which reaches a top speed of 60mph with a drop of 115ft or a ferocious Hungarian Horntail (blue) which reaches 55mph with a drop of 95ft.

Then climb aboard and hold on tight as the two dragons twist, loop and nearly collide with each other in an intertwining roller coaster chase across the sky.

The short ride see's you complete several inversions, a zero g-roll, a cobra roll, two corkscrews and two vertical loops!
