Grant's Hols Sept/Oct 2014 - Day 6 - EPCOT
<--- Day 5 Kennedy Space Centre
Knowing EPCOT was going to be a long day, we had a bit of a lie in and didn't get there until about 10:30. It was the last day for Maelstrom today so we made sure we got a FP+ for it knowing it was going to be rammed. We saw loads of "Save Maelstrom" t-shirts round the park. We chose Spaceship Earth for our first FP+ as its always busy and did that as soon as we got in the park. Traditional photo Silly photo after the ride Our second FP+ was Soarin'. We had all been on Test Track before but only Nina had been on Soarin' before, in California, so we chose that out of the 2. It was decent enough. After this we did some of the other attractions, Innoventions, the Land, The Seas, before going over to Test Track. We had been keeping an eye on the wait times and it hadn't gone below an hour all day, so we decided to go single rider. It only took about 10 minutes to get through and I really enjoyed the ride, much more than last time I rode it. We stopped off at Club Cool for the first time ever, having never known about it before (found out about it on here). We tried all drinks, some were nicer than others if I'm honest. I couldn't stand the Beverly, had to spit it out Stuart at the drinks dispenser Then we made our way out to the Worlds, we had a FP+ for Maelstrom so we had to time our walk for that, also we wanted to see Starship, who were playing that night. Somehow we managed to miss most shows and displays all the way round the worlds, so went for our final ride on Maelstrom. It was packed as predicted with well over an hour wait for standby. On the way round to seeing Starship we stopped off in England so Nina could get some more character photos, and I was on another errand for MeganGB Starship had just started playing as we were walking up to the stage, and it was one of the 2 songs I had heard of! Noooo! They were very good though and the crowd went wild for "We Built This City" We walked around a bit more, had some tea, then as we were wondering what to do (as we were knackered) Starship came on again, so we sat and watched them again. They only repeated one song so it was good to see them play some different stuff. We then got a decent spot for the Reflections of Earth fireworks and waited. I only had my compact camera and this is one of the times I wish I had my DSLR and tripod. Final photo on the way out Day 7 - Rodeo --->

Much better than any of our visits to Epcot, it is by far our least favourite park.
