Vegas first time 2011 (Travel day 1)

The bags where packed and we where ready to go but our cat wanted to come two






We left Norwich at 12.30 AM in The morning of Tuesday 23 of September 2011 and got in to Heathrow at 5:30 AM (It takes less time to get to Detroit then Heathrow Airport from Norwich ). We went to T4 by the free connect train that runs to Heathrow it stops at T4. I found the Delta check in but could not as We had more then 24 hours to go. But one of the Kind Delta Team did book us our seats for all the Flights so we did Window and Isle and Window Middle on the Detroit leg of the trip which did please both me and Maria. We then went to left luggage and left it there so to speak for 7.50 as We did not want to carry it around London. I did pre booked the tube fares so we just went to the Piccadilly line and headed in to London first stop The Disney store . We got there around 8 am and of course it was not open but we did grab a snack in the local store. We came back and as it was 10 to 9 we waited out side the store the door opened and a cast member said world you like to open the Disney store as they have this large key with this large lock we said Yes opf course what a nice start to our Holiday to open the store afterwards they gave us this

We then walked to our other main task which was go to the MM shop in Oxford Circus. We got there at 9:35 I thought they be open but they did not open until 10 So we had another little wait and gess what as we where the first in to the shop we got applauade in to the store for A short time we where the only people in there. I took quite a few pictures in there here a few I took









We then went for A wander around London stopping off A few Places and meet this Elephant had to make friends with him



All so in China town I came a cross these











I took more but so many to post

WE then headed back to Heathrow T4 and caught the H7 to travelodge. Funny thing is that the repetition on the first floor so we took about 10 mins to find it . We then went out had Fish and chips at the Local Chip shop which we eat in the room We where bed by 10 pm

What happened to make the journey 5 hours from Norwich to Heathrow, especially at that time of night?

I live in Norwich also.

What a great start to a holiday btw, not the 5 hour drive obviously!

Hi Yes we where there quite early and this very nice cast member came out and asked us so we said yes

The Dragon where in China Town I just thought they looked do Different
