fantasmic 10pm show

Was at HS yesterday and noticed they started queuing before half 6 for the 8.30 show. Wife had had enough so we were leaving anyway, but I would like to see the show. Is it a lot quieter for the later show or is it just as bad?

Yes I find it a bit quieter, most families will try the 8.30pm show to get back home in time for kids Bedtime. And if they have Booked the Dinner Deal then the 8.30 show is ideal after Dinner Showtime.
So the the 10pm is definitely Quieter in my experience.

Yes it's a lot quieter. Its the best one to hit if you want to avoid the massive wait for the earlier one.

Yeah. Thought about that, but have opted for TSM as we did aerosmith the first time.

When we visit in August, the second show is usually less busy. The last time we were there, we walked into the later show about 10 minutes before it started and still got seats with a good view.

We went for 8.30 tonight and were in the first 30 or so in the queue, we were told that FP+ and dinner packages had filled it and it would be standing room only and no one would be let in til 8.20 without FP, and they recommended arriving at 8.45 for the 10pm.

We did this, was at the front again, they let no one in til 9.30 but everyone was seated in the central sections, both end sections were virtually empty, so substantially less people.

We also did the 10 pm last night. Started queuing at 9.20 but didn't get in until about 9.40 and was dead on my feet by then. Bit of a hassle thousands of people hitting the car park and leaving at same time, especially when you don't know which lane you need to be in and people don't tend to yield for me. Ended up doing a large detour in the dark! Don't know if I will do another evening show

I hate having to use a fast pass on a show but it's getting difficult now not to. By the time the dinner package guests take their seats, if you don't have a fast pass for this show there is very limited seating available for this one most days. The other day it was standing room only for stand by guests. Luckily we had fast passes but it's not good for those like me who like to decide at the time what to do that day/evening.
