Introducing Queen P to Orlando the highs, lows and everything in between Day 5

Up at 6.30..really? again, thanks Poppy!


Cheesecake for breakfast cos we’re on holiday, and we can!
We were up and out at 8am to get to Seaworld for opening.



We arrived right on time and got straight on Manta, both the older kids got on and we did child swap, I was thrilled that Brandon and Jess both loved it.

And Chris photobombing again!


Jess then insisted on having a go at those basketball games that extract yet more money from you and I always moan about them going on them, but I got my eye wiped this time as Jess won a penguin and she was thrilled!


Next up was Kraken and we all went on this with child swap, again excellent, I can't stress enough how brilliant it was that the kids got on every coaster with no fuss, and they loved it! It was so nice to experience thrill rides with both of them, then to go on to slower paced activities with Miss P.

Atlantis was only a 10min wait, if that so all did that too – excellent start!

We wandered round a bit, looking at birds, dolphins and stingrays..



Love this one. such a pretty girl in a pretty place!

Next we headed to watch the blue horizon show, Poppy was quite ratty today so we thought a sit down in the shade would do us good, we all really enjoyed this show – Poppy clapped along, she loved it.

Great show, we wandered out and over to see the dolphins a bit closer, which Poppy loved.


She wasn't as thrilled with the Stingrays though and I don't blame her!

We decided to take Poppy back to Shamus happy harbour so she could get on some rides today..




Muuumm put the silly camera away... ! you can practically hear her thinking that in this photo. The main thing is she loved this little train, she laughed and giggled and waved and chatted in her own little language. You'll just have to take my word for it - she did!



She went on all the other rides that she loved the other day and Jess took Chris on a kids coaster, not quite the same as Manta and Kraken but she still enjoyed it!

To extract Poppy from Shamu's Harbour we bribed her with Ice Cream

Premium outlet, straight in the adidas store, Chris was in his element here, and this was the day that the budget well and truly went out the window when we made the decision to shop. It was after all our last trip for a long while.
Chris picked up loads, and we all got a pair of trainers each for approx. £20 each – bargain!

The only thing that wasn't included in the deal was any footwear that was over $100, but that didn't bother us!

Then I went mad in the Disney outlet, loved loved loved it!
Final stop was fossil, where I bought a beautiful new bag for about £24, which I though was another bargain.


Animal Kingdom is my favourite Park and I was beyond thrilled to purchase these items (it's the small things!) Those Giraffe ears were only $4.99!


None of this shopping was in our budget, as I say this is where we made the conscious decision to get it anyway. Had we not done any shopping the money had with us was more than enough - I will detail the holiday costs at the end!)

Back home, Jess doing her journal – with her trainers on, she only took them off for pool time then put them straight back on again!






And to end, my masses of receipts, to aid my memory for this trippie, building up nicely!


Another lovely, busy day for us, tomorrow is a bit of a mixed bag for me - with the family photo shoot being totally amazing, I will let the photos do the talking

Great day, fab time at SW, so nice there was something for everyone . Fab shopping, I showed the trainers pic to Andy as he bought 9 pairs in a similar sale , crazy bargain. Love your Disney purchases , bit jealous of the towels with Mickey on, Never see anything nice like that when we go, they look so much fun. What a nice paced day .

I almost wish we bought more too Amanda, we never normally see deals like that adidas one! I love mu Disney things, the oulet is always fab, enjoyed this day so much

The photo's I take help! and I keep my receipts so I know where we've been on which day and I make notes at the end of each day when we are there, it's amazing how much you can forget over time, I always make my trippies into books so we can keep the memories forever

Great day Colette, it's fab when the children love going on the big coasters! Child swap is a great thing as they get to go on twice...might need to borrow Poppy just for this purpose - do you hire her out? Liking all the shopping too. x

We moved into the Adidas and the Reebok store too and I have all my receipts in date order and photos to show which ride we went on in which order
