Highlander's & Mrs do Orlando DAY TWO (no kids)

The Cast:
Highlander: Main(only)Planner 39(soon to add another)
Mrs: Enjoys shopping & shopping(with my money) 38
kids: None

Day Two: Shopping & Cirque
We awoke about 8am, DW surprised me by actually getting up and getting ready without my usual moaning about time being wasted , we decided to eat at sizzler just down the road from hotel, weather today was pretty nice and certainly felt warm, we strolled to restaurant, although it was a mad dash across the roads (certainly gets the heart going). Sizzler was pretty empty 2 adult breakfasts plus juices $17, we where both pretty disappointed with the choices on offer pretty poor selection also no free refills on juices, the restaurant was clean though. After breakfast we wandered around park palmway found Hooters

plus other eating establishments, we had decided to use the free shuttle van to LBV outlets today but our hotel pick up was 2pm so we where using the Sheraton shuttle as it belongs to the outlets we weren't cheating their guests as it turns out we where the only people on the shuttle, we had a look around the hotel before the shuttle arrived it looked very nice and the staff where certainly more friendly than our hotel’s staff. It took less than 10 mins to get to LBV using the shuttle, the layout of the outlets is pretty good its not too large, but there is a good range of shops, I bought DW a dolphin necklace made of silver, we had 4 hours here shopping so $400 lighter(we saved about $60 with coupons as well) the HRC shop had some pretty good buys as well,

we got shuttle back to Sheraton and by 3pm we where sitting by pool, I also tried the free internet access in the hotel lobby now this is a great feature also reaches to pool, I sent email to kids and checked my own emails. After a couple of hours by pool we headed up to room and showered and changed, tonight we had tickets for cirque du soleil, I had toyed with eating at Bahama Breeze but as we left hotel I remembered someone had posted there was a nice Chinese restaurant nearby, so we decided to check it out and boy where we glad we did,

this restaurant is pretty good great choices on offer, coconut shrimp, cheese mussels, fresh mussels and shrimp, crab legs, crabmeat wrapped in bacon and plenty more traditional dishes , they even had plenty of choices for kids such as pizza, fries etc, bill here was $58 incl tip plus juices and a bottle of wine great food and at great price.

We decided to walk some of the desserts off so we walked to DTD, at DTD I decided to have a rum runner at the margarita bar by the dock, someone must have upset the bartender as he was laughing in a wry sort of way, so I enquired if he was having a good night, after telling him I worked in retail, he said “well u know what its like, jeez some people u get” so after sympathising with him he made the strongest drink ever(since school that is), after sitting people watching we got boat to westside,

we arrived at cirque a little after 8:30pm, when attendant put our tickets through machine it flashed vip seating( I had mentioned to girl who was reserving my seats it was for my birthday) these seats where dead centre and have to say great view’s, I had a JD & coke(so can probably see a theme starting here), the show was great although I do think its missing an interval, after the show we headed to HOB where I had a beer and a little rocking in a chair, we then had a wander around the shops at westside DW bought some chocolate covered strawberries they where huge and she said tasted delicious, we got a taxi back to hotel, DW was in bed by 12 I watched another DVD till late, then sleepy time, did I mention I had a litre of Jim Beam in the room.
