happy planning yourself!
Hi...we stayed in a villa but just went to ASM for a night just to get the bands, with 4 of us and the night stay including the magic bands for free and 2 days parking it worked out cheaper than buying the bands on their own.

We did it last year, £68 for a stay at ASM and we booked all the fastpasses we wanted at 60 days, 2 days free parking, magic bands which made getting on the rides easier not having to keep getting tickets out.
Also you get some videos on the rides which you only get with a magic band. It was definitely worth doing.
We booked again yesterday too ! So exciting is it. Enjoy all your planning !
ok, so it is only useful if you stay in hotel - ie you cannot buy them separately/is it worth is?

I think the Magic bands were about $18 each to buy separately so that's $72 for 4, parking $20 a day so $40 so the free items you get with the room were worth about $112 and you can book fastpasses at 60 days as well instead of the 30 for offsite guests. The room at ASM was about £68 I think so it was definitely worth it for us. You also get videos from off the rides which you can only get with the Magic band and we used the EMH for the 2 days as well. This was one of the best tips we had from the DIBB and I always like to pass it on. we went to the cheapest room they had but I have even heard of people booking the one night stay just for the freebies and not even going to use the room. We liked the bands as you didn't have to faff with tickets

sorry, ASM? EMH?
Thanks - that's a nice tip - given it costs cheaper to book room and get the extras it may be worth investigating - especially the option of not using the room but getting the frrebies!

Sorry... ASM is all star music the cheapest of the Disney resorts and EMH is when the parks open early and or late to Disney resort guests only. Hope you have a fantastic time ! We have just booked again but we aren't doing any parks this time. We did enjoy our one night stay in Disney.

I think I'm going to buy a new Magicband at Disney Springs. We're looking to book into a Little Mermaid room overnight though.
