Hi I was in No 1 Clubroom a couple of weeks ago and a few people had jeans. I think as long as you're not in fancy dress or half dressed you're fine. Love Clubroom - well worth the extra £10

Iam really glad you posted about this. reminded me we have a dragonpass card through our bank account. It lets you get in to 800 different airport lounges free.

You can most certainly wear 'jeans' in the lounge. Having said that, if they had the fashionable tears in them, not so sure. Clothes that are maybe too revealing might not be acceptable.
Shoes/sandals/trainers are all ok. I wore comfy trousers, tshirt and a cardigan as it can get cold on the plane. Myself, I wouldn't travel in flip flops, I think they can be dangerous on escalators as a previous member said. Also, don't forget a pair of warm sox, feet can get mighty chilly on long haul.
