August 10, 2017 - Another Sea Day

Sea day today, was woken at 8.30 by Andy on the phone!
Went to the Windjammer and got a Mocha coffee and then walked down to the area outside Two70 and called him back, lunch time at home. Had breakfast burritos, fruit and granola yogurt in Two70 for breakfast with another coffee, then back to get changed and find a sunbed to work on my tan and book!

Got a sandwich from the Windjammer with a beer and bottle of water before a shower and then went to my pre booked wine tasting course at 1.45.
Sat with others for wine tasting, enjoyed a nice Austrian white Gruner Vietliner and 2 others including a sparkling wine from California. The host the head of wine liked sound of his own voice and wasn't that informative, but it was a good demonstration of how flavours of cheese change the way you taste the wine.

Went and got a glass of the Austrian wine from Vintages wine bar and drank it in the sun on the balcony, sunbathed until 6 and then got showered and ready for dinner. Quick look around the shops and spotted my favourite Kipling bags on 25% off but there was nothing that I wanted.

After dinner I went to the casino, put a few quarters in a slot machine and then $20 on roulette, won $32 on number 16 but nothing else! Took my Long Beach iced tea and went back to room to watch TV.

not sure,I could have resisted the Kipling bags lol.
I enjoyed the sea days,on our cruise,gave us a chance,to really appreciate the ship.
Nice to have a little gamble isn't it.
