Annettes in the village do a cooked breakfast for €12.99 which looks great and quite filling but that doesn't open till around 8 30am I think.

I think these places will open early but I hope they consider options for those at DLH who want to head into the park early. Perhaps Main Street will have more options or as a PP says, the hotels might start 'grab and go' options?

there is some more info on the magic breaks site, which seems to indicate more breakfast choices open during EMH and some grab and go options

I guess it's fair that you can use your voucher, but it does seem a bit stingy if you get a coffee and a pastry, for the same 'price' as a full cold buffet breakfast. Still, at least it wouldn't be any extra money.
Which makes me wonder ... we are going next September (already booked and transferred from this year). Since we'd booked it long ago, we should have breakfast included. But I wonder if they will just give us free breakfast vouchers when we check in? Everyone else will be using them by then, so I would assume so. In which case, maybe we'll try the 'grab and go' option one day.

That was my reading of it too but I didn't post for fear of being seen as 'negative' . I couldn't quite work out how the 'grab and go' would work if you'd paid for sit down meal, as, as you point out, the price is quite significant for a pastry and coffee (even by DLP standards!) . Hoping you can just pay as you go for the 'grab' option maybe?
I think I'll be resorting to taking my own fruit and breakfast bars at this rate! |
