We would have been the family legging as fast as we could through to the gates.
The baps picture was the closest one I could get to ladies baps so I had to reference the Greggs element somehow .
If you seriously thought that the rest of the report could have all been true, then I suggest you re-read the "annoyed" thread I am trying to pay homage to and see how many subtle references there are
I could tell most was sort of emblishment and recognised most of the references... just had to get the bit in about Greggs.
Now if you mentioned Krispy Kreme airside you would have been fine...

So true about people dropping bags off when check in opens and then end up being some of the last to board just as we are about to offload passengers as they don't go through security straight away.

Unfortunately that bit about us being late , pushing through the queue at security and legging it to the gate was true
Genuine panic on . We just relaxed far too much and didn't keep track of time. For some reason I think we also thought it was some little provincial airport and not one serving a big city and its surrounds so the queue at security came as a massive shock .
They really shouldn't have restaurants before security . I think that added to our relaxation as whenever we have eaten before at other airports , it has been after security

There is still Gregg's at Manchester airport, so more reason to fly from there 😀 The security queue at T1 is a nightmare though .

Just brilliant.

As I’ve been a Dibber for a long time now, I recognised many of your references to threads past and present.

And I’m so glad the holiday was a success and that everything went well with your daughter.
