Flight change in Miami

Hi! We’re re-booking again for next year. We’re looking at possibly doing indirect flights that would take us through Miami (don’t want to drive from there so won’t be making that our final destination). What are people’s experiences of clearing customs in Miami vs MCO? Is it any quicker? We’d have just over a 2 hour stopover so I want to make sure we’d make it to the next flight before I book

I wouldn't stress too much on the connection.

I assume you'll be on BA or AA, and there will be a lot of connecting flights up from Miami to MCO so, should you miss your scheduled connection, there will almost certainly be later options they'll get you on.

Yeah, BA and AA. Have you done customs at Miami before?

Yes, not to connect, but we've flown into Miami 3 or 4 times and driven up.

For me, both MCO and Miami are much of a muchness - a lot depends on what other international flights have got in just before you - it's just the luck of the draw.
