Both himself and his family have done a lot of charity work for St. Margaret’s Hospice in Clydebank for many, many, many, years.
He wouldn’t have wanted this known but credit where it’s due, a true gentleman. Edited at 08:44 PM. |

This is so sad. Seems that most people who've had an encounter with him have said what a gent he was. I know I've posted on a thread here a while back that I literally ran into him and he kept me from falling and was so gracious.
Best wishes to his family |

Saw him on stage in Funny Girl. Not the most interesting role for him, but he did well. Talented guy. Such a shame.

Gerard Butlers tribute is absolutely beautiful, i hope people talk about me like that when im gone 💖
My mums put her pics of him pride of place in her kitchen bless her shes gutted, she reminded me he took her on stage during his performance at the Blue concert, such a shame it wasnt during the smart phone era as no doubt someone would have recorded it

He was such a lovely person, i remember the Blue concert well, there were quite a few big pop names at the time that the hostesses were desperate to look after (Blue, Girls Aloud etc) but my mum loved Darius from Pop Idol/Popstars and asked for him and she had the best experience by far, one of lifes true gents

Died from inhaling chloroethane.
You wonder why people indulge in such things really, another waste of life.

I read it was a substance that was a painkiller, but was an areosol so could be misused?
He had broken his neck in a car accident years ago? So is there a possibility it wasnt "recreational" use? Still tragic either way.

Not judging as I don’t know, but why do people do these things to their precious bodies.
I can’t understand and never will. My body serves me so well I can’t understand why abuse it.
