Changing Disney booking to 2021 and keeping gift card
Hi
I know that lots of people are reporting that they moved their booking to next year after the cancellation of free dining and were able to keep their gift cards. Can you share your experiences of which resorts you were booked into this year and which you have moved to. Did it matter what level of resort you moved to? We are currently booked into a deluxe (beach club) and am thinking of moving to a value next year and wondering if we'd still be able to keep the gift card. If not I'll probably just cancel and do a new booking as I can do that all online. Thanks for your help |

We moved from a moderate to a different moderate but I’m sure someone reported moving to a value and keeping the gift card. There are so many threads I can’t remember which one!

Thank you. Hopefully someone who's done it will be able to confirm. I had a reread through a couple of the threads but you are right there are so many and it felt a bit like looking for a needle in a haystack!
I figure that booking a value will give us a bit of extra money to spend on food if no offers come out or the option to make our booking more expensive if offers do appear so that we can avoid an admin fee. |

I went from a moderate to a value (POFQ August 2020 to AOA May 2021) and kept the gift card.
