I've used uber a couple of times in other countries and I just used the same app as normal and all was well. Ridiculously easy infact?!

We always use Prestige or Rs transport even when there are just 2 of us, I'd rather pay the extra and get straight to the hotel. If there are 4 of you it's cheaper than the Disney bus.

Even with 2 of us, RS Transports booked in advance was cheaper than the coach or the train.

I think I will give RS Transport a try, they seem to be mentioned a lot.

To be fair, we haven’t flown in a good few years, and I have read of a couple of people who had issues with them more recently. But that is maybe 2 or 3 people. We still plan on using them for our November trip. Will just have the Uber app fired up and ready as a backup.

we have used RS transport for years, however the last couple of times *most recent was 2019 becore covid, we have needed to ring and wait half an hour. Not too much of an issue if you want to go around the MandS shop for drinks but if not you might as well uber rather than wait 30 mins.

You can get the “slower train” RER A&B into Paris and tehen back out again which I think it around €17.

Private transfer, which will take us to the door of the hotel is €65.

Think we will go for the transfer.
How long is the journey for the slow & cheap train?

Hmm well maybe we do that instead then. My only hesitation is we have never used Uber before.

Never done it as just thought it was too much faff. Looks like about 45 min on the B train to Chatelet, then change on the A and another 45 minutes.

Don't know how easy the change is - might involve escalators/stairs.
