I felt the same about NB in 2017 and that was in a refurbished room. Unless it's been refurbished again since then but looking at recent vlogs, it's exactly the same as I remember. I couldn't even use the plugs because of how they'd been set into the furniture and my adapter wouldn't fit, think I ended up unplugging a lamp in order to charge my phone.

I think the Marvel hotel room quality is better but at nearly twice the price, I've decided to embrace stuck in the 90s as part of DLP's charm.

ETA: Just finished watching a Marvel tour and it is better, but still not great if you have a lot of devices. Only one USB between the beds and two by the TV. Plugboard still needed.

The pool is nice at Newport Bay, we have stayed there a few times.
We have booked there too! 🥰

Please let us be able to go. 🤞🏻

Sequioa is lovely during the winter months - it's great sitting near the open fire in the lobby with a hot chocolate after a day in the parks. We're staying at Newport Bay for the first time in November, as when we booked it was a lot cheaper than SL (and it isn't usually) so we decided to try something new.

No tickets sorry. Just much cheaper than all the other places I looked- some were quoting almost £3000 for 7 nights with no tickets! X

You really don’t need 7 nights at DLP - 3 full days are enough, 4 if you want to take it slowly.

Also try arriving on a weekday, much cheaper.

Annual passes can be useful too. If you stay more than 4 days over 12 months they pay for themselves. Our last trip cost £200 for 3 nights in the Ibis, and our next will be 3 nights at Art of Marvel for £700.

Ooh fab, I know I just want to go!
We had Newport Bay booked for this Feb with dining plan and everything, obvs that didn’t happen.
This is just hotel and tickets, but way cheaper and I think it will probably work out better not having the plan.
We will definitely do Remy’s but probably quick service for the rest. Not sure my kids will be up for long sit down meals in the evening anyway.

We loved Remy’s. One of the best meals we had and even without the dining plan we would happily pay OOP

Thank you:-). I thought 7 nights as fancy going into Paris for a day, Val de Europe etc and just a few days in the parks. Just our back up incase we still can’t go to Florida then! X

You deffinitely don't "need" 7 nights but with so much to do in the Paris region like you said, you could have a very leisurely week I think

Last time we went we spent three nights in Dream Castle and four nights in The Disneyland Hotel. We travelled into Paris from the Dream Castle by train (they had a shuttle bus that takes you to the station). It was really easy. If we wanted a Disney fix during that time we went to Disney Village for the evening. Breakfast was included at The Dream Castle and it was very reasonable. The Disneyland Hotel was lovely too but that was in the summer. Still love Sequoia Lodge for winter stays
