Mobile NYC to Philadelphia

Hi All

I’m just wondering if anyone has done this before, and if so, what has been the easiest / cheapest way to do it?

We may have to fly back to the U.K. from Philadelphia instead of NYC this December, so trying to figure out how best to get there.

Also, if this is the case, then we will have to stay an extra night there. Are there any places we need to avoid? I’ve heard there are some pretty rough parts of Philly so want to be careful.

Thanks in Advance

Gill

Amtrack. So easy. Penn Station straight to Philly. Can be as low as $18 per person

Is that the train? I’ve been looking at that but it’s $97 each! I can find a bus super cheap, I’ve literally only just seen those though
