Think I need to knit myself a balaclava!

I am already wearing winter clothes! My ears and face were so cold that I had to put the central heating on. Never had to do that before in August! That doesn’t bode well for winter.

Jan, thank goodness it's not just me! I put my jumper on last week and very seriously contemplated the heating one evening.
Being a pensioner I fought the temptation!

It has turned colder and I've noticed the dark nights creeping in. I've been putting my log fire on at night and got the winter clothes back out. I agree with you I have a funny feeling we are in for a bad winter.

The problem is I think, we acclimated to that heat and the body is struggling to readjust.

This, I can deal with. That was my worst summer for many a long year ... : )

I was thinking it was just me feeling the cold, weather seems to have jumped right into autumn already. Tomorrows forecast in the North East is awful and still only August.

Still wearing shorts in London and have the fan on in every room we're in.

It's been like that since May, I hate it! Bring on the winter.

I'm honestly loving it. I'm sure I am much more suited to the cold and damp!

Noooooo, wish we could swap climates with the south.
Put a jumper on yesterday and considered the heating but refuse to put it on in August.

I mentioned to the hubby last night how it was noticeably darker already. I haven’t yet noticed any cold, still have my fan on every day.
