We have 6 days universal then 3 days at the end of our holiday- for HHN but AP works out cheaper than 2 lots of tickets.
I’ll be getting a 14 day ticket and then upgrading before it expires as I’m going next August as well but probably only two days next August. The reason not getting initially is Volcano bay is not included as I want to go there a number of times .

I’m also interested to know how much people pay when they upgrade to an annual pass.

We haven’t fully decided yet if we’ll squeeze a trip in within the 12 months, I hope so, but I don’t want to buy the annual pass in advance incase we can’t make the second trip work.

We plan to upgrade one of our tickets just to get a better parking deal

How many days do you need left on your 14 day ticket to upgrade to AP?

We’ve got 2020 tickets loaded to the app. We’ve finally rebooked for end of April next year and I’ve emailed guest services who have said they’ll renew the tickets (now expired) on our next visit. I’ve been lucky enough to invited out by a friend in September so I plan to renew our tickets then (providing it has a long enough expiry for my wife and daughter to use next year) and upgrade my ticket to an annual pass to use in September and april/May 2023.

I did see a post on a thread here recently that someone got a better upgrade deal going to guest service at IOA over than one on citywalk. Might be worth asking around when you’re there.

durig covid out Annual passes expired. I emailed them several times about renewal and the line i kept getting was you cant renew once expired. brilliant!
So they gave us 2 5 day 3 park tickets that dont expire and can pick the up from the will call when we go next month.

Does anyone know if these will be eligible for an upgrade to AP's?

Yeh I did plan to get an AP but not sure its worth it now.

Works out £567 for the AP. Price of a 14 days 3 park is £299.

Even at £21 a go thats a lot of parking to use to make it worthwhile.

Parking is $27 now. I suppose it depends on how much more you spend elsewhere too.
If you buy a lot of food merchandise then your discounts pretty quickly add up as well.

It's definitely more 'worth it' if you get a 2 park AP, as the price difference is much smaller but you still get the same perks (other than entrance to VB obviously).

I think the majority of people tend to go for AP when they might possibly have a 2nd trip within the year.
