Well here goes, its freezing cold, I've got a cut on my hand and have an annoying cough so what better to do than an afternoon in front of the Winter Olympics and to start to upload my trip report from last summer ... !

Welcome to my trip report for our 2017 summer holiday to New York and on a cruise to the Caribbean. I got lots of good feedback from my pre trip report and I love being able to look back on my holiday with a diary and photos so decided I must complete a trip report.
For those who didn’t see my pre trip, the holiday was for me and my daughter who is 14, we both have cruised a lot before and loved the idea of shopping and sight seeing in New York too, so I combined the 2! The holiday was booked for just the 2 of us as I was divorced in 2016, however in April 2017 I started a new relationship with Andy who didn’t accompany us but you will see reference in the report to me finding time and wi-fi to phone home!

To make the trip report easier I used an app on my phone and Ipad called ‘My W Days’ which allowed me to add to my trip report on my phone whilst in queues, on public transport etc and then finish it off day by day in the evening, previously I’ve used a note book and then had to spend hours typing it up, but this app allows you to transfer into word so hopefully this report shouldn’t take too long.
