Thanks for your advice.
Problem is not that I have a room or not, the problem is them making the mistake in the first place, changing my booking even though its been confirmed and then denying it's been confirmed and now not responding to me or sending through amended documents.
So I'm now stuck in limbo till at least Tuesday until I find out what they are playing at.
I was told I had until 6pm last Tuesday to confirm the chages, which I did and I've had no response since then, not even to acknowledge the change

yep, not a good advert for SimplyTravel - I'd still be pushing for a full refund from them, they've messed up.

Absolutely. I will never book anything with them again and I'll make sure none of my friends and family do either. Hopefully I'll get a response Tuesday. I'll take a full refund even though it means we won't be going as our dates are booked up now.

i'm sure if you get the refund and give your preferred dates of travel and preferred hotel on here, we'd help to have a look around and see if theres a deal available.

There are always options. What about offsite? Plenty of offsite hotels that are easy. We like Elysee which is one stop on the RER.
