Buy her the junior ones, just think how excited she will be. I bought my dd a pair of dr martens £110 and they hurt her, she has had them since Christmas 2018 and is still trying to break them in. I’m sure that wont be the case with the trainers, trainers are comfy and your niece will be so happy

It was actually 5 1/2 - I know this because I worked in a sport shop, so I was used to seeing parents hoping their kids would still fit.
I've just checked and it's now 6 1/2 for kids' shoes - I had no idea it had changed. The difference is VAT - kids' clothing and footwear is zero-rated. |

I have a running mad DH and sons so buy a lot of Nike stuff. Join the Nike club and you should also get a discount code, if not there's lots of them around.

What I find "funny" about this post is my own daughter (was 17 at time) insisted that she only wanted AF1s for her birthday, everyone had them, she was left out.
Of course that was nearly two years ago now, and back in the golden days on 2018/19 everyone wanted WHITE, Black AF1s might as well have been a pair of Dunlop Green Flash. Fashions change, teenagers "need" to have never goes away (You have to admire the way Nike have managed to market the same trainers and get people worked up about which colour it is, certainly beats spending money on creating a new product) |

My daughter is 15 and Nike Airforce One trainers are the ones she wears. She is a 6 and can still manage the junior size.
Do you happen to be eligible for a Bluelight card ? There is a 20% discount at JD just now with a blue light code. |

Have a look at both pairs...
I know that when I used to buy Nike Rifts the Juniors and Adults were different. The adults had the funny toe thing and the juniors didn't. Thats how you used to tell with those ones. With my vapormax ones you can't tell. Older kids shoe looks like this nike/gb/t/air-force-...B1w/314192-009 Adult women's looks like this nike/gb/t/air-force-...nmr/315115-038 HTH's Edited at 01:15 PM. Reason: spelling ! |

I'm sure they should look the same. Some of the saving is because there is no VAT on kids shoes

I think in this style they look the same. I’ve just ordered dd white ones from foot asylum in the junior section as it’s free delivery at the moment.

agree with the others, other trainers wont be want she wants and wont be cool / trendy. Don't get others, either something else entirely of some funds towards here chosen trainers.
