YES to the #usanumberone trainers for the baby. I approve!

Not all that shocked that you loved the coconut drink - did you do your dance...?
Dinner looked epic. I'm stuffed from my meal and I STILL want Chinese now.
The irony that Rach is the one loving the shrimp!

I am hoping by the time baby is big enough to wear the trainers they will be capable of posing with the #usanumberone finger up, will start training them young!

Oh that coconut drink... if it would have been acceptable I would have totally been doing the dance right there at the table... hmmm hmmm hmmmm!

It's criminal how much holiday time you lose to traffic in LA isn't it, every half hour journey needing 2 hours Such a shame they can't get some sort of measure in place to ease the congestion.

Love what you managed again today though, I love Santa Monica, such a great feel to the place & Long Beach was lovely too. Those Converse, eeek! So cute.

PF Changs looks good too, I have always been aware of it but never stopped to eat there, Maybe next trip!

That damn LA traffic, unavoidable at any time of day it seems!

Santa Monica was lovely, I wish we could have stopped there for a bit longer... this trip has certainly made me realise how much we need to get back to see everything in more detail!

Lovely hotel in Long Beach! We stayed on the Queen Mary when there. Love Santa Monica and so glad you photographed the end of Route 66 sign. We are doing the entire Route next year.

The hotel was gorgeous, a perfect way to finish the trip!

Oh wow doing the while of Route 66 will be amazing, I can't wait to read all about that trip!

A good last day. We just had PF Chang’s for our last meal of the holiday last night, we really enjoyed it and like you ordered too much food. DH says LA traffic is the most bonkers he has ever driven in, although the car pool lane has been a godsend at times.

I can't believe we have never stumbled across P.F Changs before, I think it will become a firm favourite for future trips!

The LA traffic really was like nothing I have seen before... Paul is the most patient and laid-back driver I have ever known and it was even pushing him over the edge which really says something!
