Studio at SSR v POR

SSR with DDP is working out £150 cheaper than POR with QS. I'm down to these two. Any suggestions which would be preferable. 3 of us including a 10 year old. October 2018. Thanks.

We are off to SSR next October. We loved our previous stay there, but POR looks wonderful too to be honest. My ds will be 11. We all loved it!

I'm another that loves Saratoga springs so would opt for the studio, the resort has a lovely vibe.

I prefer SSR-rooms bigger and kitchenette. And it's less money and you get the more comprehensive dining plan.

Both are lovely but you're getting much better value at SSR so I'd go for that.

SSR studios are 40sqft bigger have a better layout and better facilities.

I vote SSR.

We stayed in POR last month and even though it's a lovely resort I'd go for SSR if it's cheaper with a better dining plan

We would prefer SSR for the bigger room and better layout plus the walk to DS.

We saw the same deal last weekend and jumped straight for Saratoga Springs. The proximity to DS, cheaper price for a better room, and full dining plan swung it. I'm confused as to why the PO resorts are coming in more expensive with a less good dining plan, to be honest.

If it's definitely SSR with DDP vs POR with QSDP, it's a no brainer - SSR as it should be more expensive than POR being in a higher resort tier, and comes with a better dining package. Suspecting they only had the premium view royal rooms left at POR, which aren't worth the upgrade cost IMO.

If you meant you'd upgraded dining at POR and they're both on DDP, I'd personally still go with SSR since it's cheaper and you have some of the deluxe benefits (e.g. balcony) over any moderate resort. The only thing would be the studio has a sofa bed instead of a proper extra bed, so your 10yo would need to be fine with that. I personally loved sofa beds at that age so I can't see it being an issue!

POR is lovely, but not worth paying more for since it's technically a downgrade.
