Character meal plans (no dining plan)
We are trying to plan our character meals. We previously did Disney Jnr breakfast (to ensure Jedi training sign-up and Jedi training is still a must-do), and Akershus.
9yo desperate to meet Minnie so thinking we'll do Minnie's beach club breakfast (was so tempted by Tusker House but no Minnie there...) Then also looking at CRT and BOG dinners. Anything else we should seriously consider? (Can't afford to spend out on loads...) |

Cape May Cafe breakfast is a really lovely meal - quite under-rated I think.
The obvious advantage of breakfasts is they tend to be a bit cheaper than both lunch and dinner, although if you go to a place that does breakfast AND lunch, you can get the best of both (food) worlds by booking an ADR just ahead of the switchover - you'll pay the breakfast price but also see some lunch food! |

Daughter was the same big Minnie Fan she wanted to go Minnie Beach bash. It was very good. Relaxed, good food and good character interaction and they have Banana Foster sauce.
BOG dinner was good but expensive. Kids loved the Paint Chip desserts. CRT was good again expensive. A cheaper option to consider Storybook dining. |

A good place to meet Minnie and the rest of the fab 5 would be Chef Mickey’s in the Contemporary Resort.
I ate breakfast in there and the food was beyond incredible for the price, you spend a good amount of time with each character and the cast members are impeccable. |

Minnie’s Beach Bash at Cape May cafe is the best character breakfast on property imo.
Lovely food, laid back vibe and slightly cheaper than some of the other restaurants too. Way better than Chef Mickey. You might also want to consider the new character breakfast at Topolinos Terrace. It’s Mickey, Minnie, Donald and daisy.

Having just recently done 6 character meals (if you include Storybook Dining as one) my only advice is do the breakfasts. The dinners are all over $50 and simply are not worth the money if you are not on the DDP.

I've not ever been there, but have got it bookmarked as a possibility for August; the Hilton at Disney Springs do a character breakfast on a Sunday...

I’d definitely pick Cape May, Chef Mickey’s is our least favourite Character dining we’ve always found the quality of the food there to be below par.
