Lion king show returning but you have to pay?!
wdwnt/2021/10/disneyland...ccess-service/
Just saw this , not loads of details but it seems to be suggested that you have to pay to see this show?! A post today on Instagram by Disneyland Paris with same info has comments with lots of unhappy people because of the €15 pp charge. I must say this does seem to be crossing a line doesn't it? What next , they'll charge you to see a parade ? Perhaps I have it wrong and you just have to pay to get a good seat or something - certainly isn't worded that way though. |

I had a quick look. I read it as you are guaranteed to get a seat if you pay €15 and if you don’t you take pot luck in getting a seat or not. Could be wrong though but either way Disney have gone over the line for me already with all the extra charges.

Ok have re read and see what you mean. Even still all these charges are coming thick and fast so not sure why each one surprises me so much. Ultimately they just want to make £££
Everytime something like this gets announced it makes me sad for the Disney that once was. |

I was so looking forward to this but there’s no way I’m paying. I’ll chance my luck with a seat!

Firstly, the site on question is a notoriously unreliable source…
But anyway - last time the show was on, queues stretched for over an hour. The only real way to get in was to book the 2-day festival package which also included a meal with a character meet with Explorer Mickey and Rafiki, an exclusive meet with Explorer Minnie, an African drumming demo and some rather decent souvenirs as well as a gift voucher. We paid for it and spent 2 days of our holiday doing the package. This sounds more along the lines of the new Premier Access system. I don’t plan on buying any PAs for rides as they can mostly be done as walk-ons during EMT. Whether I would pay for this to skip a lengthy queue remains to be seen. Edited at 03:31 PM. |

We have always got a seat in the standby Queue.
We won’t be paying either. |
