P&O Excursions

So, I often login to my account frequently just to check what is available and what may tickle our fancy. Due to the virus I haven’t been on in ages until last night. Now, I noticed a lot of excursions were ‘sold out’ included Segway in Copenhagen which was high on my list. But we don’t cruise until December. So I had a few thoughts:

The excursions are available very early... is this due to the virus and trying to get a bit of income?

Some of them being sold out seems strange, so early, is this due to companies not certain on bookings if they are closed during the virus?

Some ports only have a few excursions available (Oslo), surely this means there will be more added later?

I have cruised with P&o a few times before and never had this situation. They have released excursions ahead of time but they were all there from the start with good availability, and more than just six at one port. Just want reassurance really if anyone can give me it. I can imagine phone lines will be busy so don’t want to bother them. They will probably just say keep logging in and checking anyway 😆

I think the only virus involved here is on the P&O website! Facebook is littered with similar experiences, lots of people very frustrated with glitches that are throwing up all kinds of weird responses- one of them being where an excursion is not yet available it is shown as sold out.

I don’t use FB anymore so thanks for this. It’s definitely set my mind at ease 🙂 I only booked the couple I really wanted and figured I would wait it out for the others!
