To that end I would buy different size plastic washers white in colour and use them under the blind track to lower one end by packing out under the clips holding the track up
Ok, it won’t sort out the problem but it will mitigate it a bit.
Best I can do sorry.
Tom . You need to do a bit of panic buying to keep your mind occupied 😂😂

The blind is in a conservatory not a normal walled room , so the blinds attach to the pvc frame of the window , rather than to the lintel / recess ceiling

I had a quick look last night. The brackets are as high as they can be . With the majority of the vanes sitting too high , I am hoping a tweak of the positioning of the brackets may be able to lower the vanes at the higher points . At the lower end towards the right, the bracket does seem to droop a little, meaning the rail isn’t quite level .
I have a guy from Hillary’s coming out next week to look at and I am a bit more hopeful something can be done to at least make it much much better .

The other issues with the blinds over the patio door I am less hopeful of being resolved 😪 but at least I got an admission that it was a problem that their most experienced fitter in their office ( not the one that actually fitted our blinds ) hadn’t come across before .
Might not help me in the long run , but feeling a little less like it was all my patio door’s fault that it had been made out to be

Just be ready for the aftersell. My vertical blinds are good but my wooden Venetians stick, the cord came loose and they didn’t come out so I fixed it myself. But they still ring all the time to see what else I need.

Well , still battling with Hillary’s 8 months after originally fitted. They came out yesterday to re-fit their 3rd attempt at the ‘ perfect fit’ blinds for the patio doors - absolute **** and won’t be staying

They also looked at the verticals . They had originally used my old brackets from the old verticals to hang them from . Now they have used their own new brackets . But rather than putting the brackets over the existing holes they have put them just to the side . So I now have a series of holes in my upvc showing .

Even the new brackets look shocked 😂😂

Is this normal when replacing blinds ?
Is it other people’s experience when using Hillary’s ?

Mmm, not good. The problem you will face with the holes left and their brackets being in a different place is they can argue that that's where they need to be and your old ones were unsuitable and in the wrong place.

Probably a load of old tosh but I lay money that will be their stance.

All is not lost though. Years ago all you could do with old screw holes was use white silicon and dolly it over as best as you could.
But there is now a specific filler that 'snaggers' on the building sites use. They can even bluff over chunks out of cills etc.

All the good uPVC suppliers sell it.

Plast Aid is pretty good.

With regards to the blind installers what a bodge job. Keep battling.

Edit. Their new brackets aren't level by the way! At least 1.5mm out one end. However there is movement in the brackets so the screws need slackening and the bracket can be pushed level.

Hillarys were so bad .
We complained about how flimsy and bad fitting they were after installation and he said “well, you are not supposed to have your windows open when you have blinds “
😐

The customer services guy has just rung me back . He seemed incredulous that the ‘ perfect fit’ blinds still were no good at the third attempt .
I was queuing for a ride at Blackpool pleasure beach and got to the front before he could spout whatever he was going to do about the brackets .

Thanks for that product Tom . As you say the brackets haven’t even been fitted straight

I once had them out for a quote but they wouldn't sell me the blinds because my husband wasn't at home.
Husband has zero interest in blinds.

They keep turning up when I am not in ! Presumably hoping that they will get an easier ride from the women in the house .

But that’s outrageous they wouldn’t sell to you . They put all our order in our daughters name which caused no end of GDPR issues for a while just because they couldn’t otherwise do appointments around a working family life
