Wi-Fi in Parks and Santa Fe

Morning all,

Just wondering how good the wi-fi is in the parks and rooms at the SF? It says it is rolling it out in the parks in January 2017 just wondered if anyone has had any luck and if it's good connection.

When we were there at Halloween there wasn't free wifi in the parks but there was free wifi in the onsite hotels. TBH the free hotel wifi in our room at HNY, for me, was absolutely rubbish, although my DD had a better connection and was able to watch videos etc on YouTube. I had faster connection speed through 3G, didn't seem to be 4g available. I have the free data roaming on O2 so using 3G didn't cost me anything.

Wifi in the Studios is due to be rolled out sometime this year, and in Disneyland Park next year. No idea of dates but don't hold your breath.

We found the wifi in our room in Santa Fe was fine.

I'm with Three for mobile and France is one of their 'feel at home' countries so you can use your data allowance, make inclusive calls to other UK mobiles etc. Comes in very handy when there's no wifi!

We got one of their sims when we went to WDW but we are only going for 4 days so not sure if it's worth it, plus I've given all the dining reservations my mobile number!

Think I might just have to wait to upload and check photos until I get home if the wifi isn't particularly good at SF
