Table Service Vegetarian Meals
Tell me your favourites. Or places where they do ‘off menu’ veggie dishes on request. I’ve reverted to vegetarianism after 20 years back eating meat (14 before that veggie). I feel so much better for it but have not been a veggie at Disney for over 20 years and then off site. It wasn’t a good experience. We plan to visit next in 2020 before my youngest heads off to Uni 😢 so I have plenty of time to plan my veggie attack!

Take your pick - we go with 2 veggies and a vegan and they have had great food. The most attentive was at 1900 park fare dinner where the chef came out and cooked to order. Great sit down: trattoria al Forno, mamma Melrose, Ohana breakfast, Rose & Crown, Sci fi, to name a few..

I've just watched a glowing review of the veggie option at Storybook dining. It was a cheesy/squash gnocchi dish- This Orlando Life reviewed

I've been a veggie for at least 20 of my visits to WDW and, relative to 25 years or so ago, the choices now are tremendous.
I think the only place I've been "off menu" is Cali Grill where chefs at each of the kitchen stations would prepare something different and you'd receive a variety of dishes. We visited last week and they seem to have formalised that now, and you choose 4 (I think it was) different dishes from a menu selection and it was great. Other favourites of mine include Teppan Edo, Sanaa and Boma but, frankly, there are very few places where I don't enjoy the veggie offerings. |
