Growing up we all had things our parents would or do still say. Not sure if it’s a thing from where you grew up.
My mum used to always say certain things when I asked what’s for tea... it was either ≈≈≈≈ with sugar on or dog ≈≈≈≈ and dooley men.
What sayings or expressions did you grow up hearing and do you find yourself saying those things when you swore you never woukd

I swore blind I’d never stand at the bottom of the stairs and shout turn that down get off the phone but can’t count the amount of times as a parent I did and cringed when mine were all at home
What’s even worse when you look in the mirror admiring that new coat
You’ve always wanted and you do a double take cause you look like your mother I love ,y classic wrap over camel coat my swing black coat and my red coat all 10 times the price my moth r paid I’m sure

Nothing I have ever used but a guy I dated i college told me he used to play with his belly button as a child.His mum told him if you unscrew your bellybutton your bum will fall off.25 years later and still makes me giggle 😆
