Sea world “look son it’s a dolphin”
We all glanced at each other , and had to turn away... it was a huge sunfish, as per the huge sign said at the so next to him

We have just come back from the states and a few people thought hubby was from Australia.. born and bred in Wales!

Obviously Americans hear some resemblance in our accents to Australian accents 😂 I don’t hear it myself but it’s strange that both your DH and my family have been mistaken for Aussies

I'm from Kent and I've lived here since I was 2. Last year in Orlando a taxi driver asked me if I was from Scotland.

Was your reply "No...but I'm beginning to understand the appeal..."? 😉

We are from the West Country and we’ve been asked if we were Australian too. Years ago, we visited parents in law who live in Salt Lake City, their neighbours asked us if we had washing machines in England- my dh said no, we use a rock in the river, I could have killed him! Not in the USA but in my local Primark, a t shirt on the shelves had the slogan “por favor “, 2 girls looked at it and said what’s pour favour mean, I was gobsmacked.

A family were in front of us in the huge queue for the boat from HS to the Boardwalk. The lady decided they should all walk back, the guy said, “Lord knows, we need the exercise”. 😁.
I was at Bell Services at the Dolphin and there was a very cross lady arguing with someone at the check in desk. Eventually she shouted, “This is NOT the happiest place on earth”.
