Hope you both enjoy it, we didn't fit it in this year with just a couple of nights but it's on my list still for next year.

Dunno if this has already been posted but if your Landry card is to a uk address they won’t use your $25 credit towards alcohol. I found out the hard way that my husband beer wasn’t included and was so cross we left. Wish I had known before.

one credit ADRs booked

Brace yourself this isn't a short shortlist!

Thought I would list our other ADRs:

breakfasts

Crystal Palace - quite keen to try this breakfast lasagne

Tangled Breakfast at Trattoria al Forno - the breakfast calzone is excellent as is the character interaction albeit last time there was a very strong fish smell on check in. Cue Eva complaining... but a good use of credit

Be Our Guest - I like this breakfast. 8am ADR for no lines on the mountains. I know people don't like it but I think it's a pretty good feed for breakfast. Hoping they have a mimosa for my cocktail commitment

'Ohana - Stitch & Co - staple for us. Good characters and nice food

Cape May @ Beach Club - Eva's favourite character breakfast. They do excellent omelettes and the characters hang around a bit longer

Akershus - this was my fave last year. I really like the fishy buffet and the skillet is lovely with the cheesy spuds.

Chef Mickey - will probably get cancelled again as it's too busy but Eva loves it

Hollywood and Slime to get into HS on day 2 of GE opening. it get's bad press but they do offer a decent spread at breakfast.

That's 8 breakfasts booked. For 15 days - we will do most of them. This is likely the last year Eva will be into the whole character meal with autographs and stuff so I thought go large this year. Isn't that what DxDDP is for? I won't get this opportunity again with just having the one sprog.

Next post will be our 1 credit dinner ADRs.

The breakfast lasagne at CP is yummy - we have lunch booked this year instead but always find plenty of good stuff there 😉👌

Sounds like a great plan, I missed the character breakfasts this year as ds wasn't that keen. Squeeze them all in while Eva is still up for it.

That’s the idea - once she goes into high school in September I think I’m going to notice a big change so I want to make the most of it as it might be the last year she’s really into it. This is probably our last year on deluxe so I plan to take full advantage x

It’s a big transition isn’t it? Eva is going to a different school to all her friends as she got into a good grammar school so it’s been really emotional for us... it’s hard to explain that she’s going to make new friends ... hopefully our holiday will distract her xx

I hope Joe is looking forward to his new school xx

It really is, he's ready for the change I think, they did 2 transition days where they had a timetable and met their new classes, 280 first years, it's a big school.

Kids are so resilient and way better at dealing with change than adults. I'm sure there will lots of other kids in a similiar situation to Eva looking to meet new friends and loads of others she will find she has things in common with.
