Fuerteventura flights
We have just booked a villa in Fuerteventura for August next year so now waiting for flights to be released. There are some on Tui & Thomas Cook at about £400 each. Is this the going rate or are we likely to get a better deal when they’re all released?

You could try EasyJet too. August prices won’t be cheap.
We’re off here in September and booked with Thomas Cook but having been a regular visitor since the early 90s I’ve used various companies.

Ryanair and Easyjet will release their fares in September. I get a weekly email from Money Saving Expert and the release dates are notified a couple of weeks before. £400 does seem a lot for flights to Fuerteventura. Last year we went to Tenerife and paid less than £100 each. This year we go to Lanzarote and we have paid £150 each. Both for August. I would wait as I wouldn’t want to pay any more than £200. We have gone from Glasgow instead of Manchester though to keep costs down.
Edited to say you get the best price if you go on at 5.30 am on the day of release. Edited at 10:48 PM. |

Thank you. Looks like I’ll have to be patient! I just like to know things are booked & we’re really going!

We flew with BA last year, I used avios but I think prices were reasonably cheap anyway. That was for October though.
If you have avios it’s a good use of points though. |
