New MagicBand Options Coming to Walt Disney World Resort

Same as yesterday now. I've got different options showing on my phone to the laptop and can only get one of the one's we want to go through, obviously can't do this as won't be able to get the others.

think it would have probably been a better idea for Disney to have let you opt out of the free magic band you get when you first arrive and in turn issue a discount voucher/code to redeem at your resort.

I dunno, it just seems like such a lucky dip on when they release new bands and what bands will be available

I personally really like that you can have your name printed on the back, which wouldn't be the case with a voucher.

My guess is they prefer to ship them beforehand because it makes the lines for the Magical Express go faster at the airport. If they have to look everyone up in the system it would take forever.

The main issue seems to be that they decided to ship them immediately. If they had stuck to the same delivery schedule they had then they could have adjusted their stock to the demand with time to spare. The best theory I can come up with is that they decided to ship immediately so their accounting balances out right away.

Take a breath, give it a bit of time and it will hopefully be sorted by the time you go. I honestly don't think Disney realised how popular this would be

We only had our issues resolved once we got to the Magic Band ordering window closing. We have still had to order one via a code they sent
(that I know will not have DS name on the back of - but at least it is progress from where we were at)

In the meantime - just have a look at the expiry of the card you have with pending payments, ours just happened without us knowing and I would have hated to have waited and then found out my card had expired

As stated in an earlier post - I still have an expectation of 4 grey bands when we turn up

I had the same problem yesterday and the same today, more bands available but unable to checkout

More bands available but I could get DH and DD's last night but not mine and now I can get mine and DD's but not DH's.
