Food on Virgin

We fly out of GLA two weeks on Saturday and was wondering if anyone who has travelled with them recently can tell me the food they had on the menu? I've currently ordered the children (11 and 9) the child's meal but wondering if they will prefer the adults. Thanks 😊

it depends what time you are flying as we had a dinner choice of either chilli or chicken pasta, a vegetarian option that I can�t remember.

Then for breakfast there was a choice of crossaint with cheese or cirque monsiuer.

Kids meal last year was cheesy pasta I�m sure I�ve read somewhere that it�s still the same. It came with crackers and laughing cow cheese triangle. Desert I think was chocolate something

We flew last week with VA to New York, so this may not apply but the options were:

Outgoing

Sausage and mash (I had this, was surprisingly very nice... and I'm a fussy eater)
Chicken + mushroom farfalle
Quorn cottage pie with cheesy mash (OH had this and enjoyed it and she doesn't eat veggie usually)

Pre-landing sandwich box was cheese and tomato chutney sandwich with crisps etc. - OH enjoyed it

Return

Creamy mushroom farfalle bake
chicken teriyaki
loaded beef chilli wedge melt

(we didn't have a meal as we'd just eaten a big maccies at JFK before the flight back)

"Breakfast" was a cereal bar and blueberry yogurt. OH ate the yogurt but found the cereal bar to be quite dense.

It was cheesy pasta both legs back in 2016 too! Not very nice either - their food let's them down IMO

Kids meals last year for us were cheesy pasta too which my daughter didn't like. I think she would have preferred the adults choice!
